AMPLA has prepared a number of model legal documents in common use by resources and energy law practitioners. The model documents are available for use by AMPLA members free of charge and by non members upon payment of a fee of $A100 (+ GST) in relation to each document. The Model Mining Services Contract consists of a Main Contract covering all normal basic provisions required for a mining operation together with additional optional, alternative and special coal and iron ore clauses which may be used with the Main Contract document. The Model Farmout Agreements and Model Deeds of Assignment and Assumption are now available for Single-Party and Multi-Party. Model Mining JV Agreement (New) The Model Mining Joint Venture Agreement covers all normal basic provisions where a joint venture progresses from the Exploration stage through Development to the Mining, Treatment, Rehabilitation and Mine Closure stages, including a full Accounting Procedure. It is based on the Model Exploration JVA but has significantly more developed provisions. Optional and alternative clauses are currently being developed and will be available when completed.
